Hi there!

Just to give everyone an update on what’s happening with development on MSN2CSV. Well at this stage, it’s been more or less frozen. My hard drive crashed so I have had to reinstall Windows, and everything with it.

Luckily, I was able to get almost all my files off the hard drive before wiping it, so I do still have all the MSN2CSV files and can continue from where I left off. I have only just reinstalled Visual Studio, so hopefully I can get back into writing MSN2CSV 3 shortly.

So far, I have almost got Quick Mode finished, and I am just trying to get rid of a little bug that’s interfering. Once that’s done, I will release a BETA, then work on Advanced Mode. The BETA should be ready soon, and obviously, will only have Quick Mode available. As for the final release, this may take a while, but I will do it as soon as possible.

So that’s it for now. Be sure to check back, or subscribe at http://feeds.feedburner.com/msn2csv to be kept up to date automatically.

Remember, the current version is 2.7. If you don’t have it, go to the Download page to get it.

Cheers!

Well, we’re starting to get somewhere! MSN2CSV 2.7 is now ready to download!

Go to the Download page to get it.

For those who have used MSN2CSV before, there have been no changes from 2.6, other than redirecting links to this site.

And for those new to MSN2CSV, thanks for coming here! As not all of the pages from the previous site have been moved here yet, let me give you a quick run down on MSN2CSV.

Basically, MSN2CSV was designed to take the hassle out of manually copying contacts from MSN to non-Hotmail email accounts, such as Gmail and Yahoo! Mail. While that was the main purpose, it also can be used with other programs, such as desktop mail clients and more.

MSN2CSV works quite simply; it takes your MSN contact list and converts it to a CSV file, a file format used by many programs and websites. MSN2CSV works with contact lists from both MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger.

You can convert in two ways: a quick mode, that just takes one contact list and converts it straight to a CSV file; or an advanced mode, that can do more, such as combine multiple contacts, and let you name each contact.

If you need any more information, you are welcome to contact me at mitcho1989@gmail.com.

This should be the last release of MSN2CSV before the major update to Version 3. Unfortunately, there’s still a few bugs in it, which I’m trying to get rid of. But when it’s released, it will have a modern, nicer look, and converts A LOT faster than the current version.

I hope MSN2CSV can help you out! And be sure to subscribe to this blog to be notified of new releases.

Thanks!

Mitch.

Hi there! Welcome to what will be the new site for MSN2CSV!

For those who don’t know, MSN2CSV has been moved around a countless number of websites now, but hopefully this should be the last for a long while now.

Anyway, stick around, as MSN2CSV Version will be posted here very shortly. I am putting the finishing touches on it right now. Just updating a few links in the program for the new site, doing a tiny bit of cleaning up and then it will be finished and put here, ready to download!
